Pastor Rick was called to FBC McComb in August 2019. He earned his Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Bachelor of Arts in Religion from East Texas Baptist University.
Pastor Rick is former Vice President of the Louisiana Family Forum. He has led mission projects in over twenty countries around the world, overseeing the building of churches, orphanages, and children’s camps.
His wife, Cindy, and he are the proud parents of four sons, four daughters-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
Denise has served in ministry at FBC McComb since 2000 and stepped in as youth director in the fall of 2015. She has a love and passion for communicating God’s word and wants to see His people rooted and grounded in His Love. She and her husband, Jeff, have been married 28 years and have served in youth ministry over 27 years. They have four beautiful daughters Paige, Morgan, Madison and Anna Grace.
Curt has been part of the First Baptist Church of McComb family since 2002. He has taught Sunday school here over four years and led the homeless ministry for five years and in 2018, he started a men’s ministry called Frontline. With some education, he intends to continue seminary. He is devoted to God’s Word and enjoys teaching. He has been on staff for three years as a building superintendent and has recently taken on the role as Campus Director. Curt has been married to his high school sweetheart since 1985 and they have three boys, Matthew, Corey and Jacob, and an adopted girl Jalyn.
Lisa became a family member of First Baptist in May of 2013. She has a love for the Lord and for life and enjoys sharing that love with the people she comes in contact with through words, prayer, laughter and smiles. Through GALS Bible Study she gets to walk alongside women of this community that long to draw near to Jesus.
Sara, Will, Colbie and Campbell have been members of FBC McComb since 2017. She has been a teacher in Pike County for 14 years and has a passion for seeing children grow academically, socially, emotionally & spiritually. “I love seeing children light up with excitement & enjoy creating an atmosphere of fun while teaching all about God’s grace and goodness.”
Andrew and his wife, Sarah, have been members at FBC McComb since 2005. Andrew has led worship at 4 other churches in Southern Mississippi. He has a desire to learn and share the gospel through the music ministry and is passionate about getting everyone involved.
Dawn and her husband Tony have been members of First McComb since April 2014.They have three sons, Ty, Dawson and Greyson. She has had the privilege of serving in both the Preschool and Children’s ministries for the past five years and has been the Preschool Director since February 2018. Planting seeds of faith in our littles is her calling for our church family. She enjoys walking alongside our families as they build a foundation of faith while navigating the different stages of parenthood.

Ellen and her family joined FBC McComb in 2006, and she has been on staff since Oct. of 2008. She feels blessed to work and serve with such a great staff family. Ellen Loves worshipping her Lord, learning more about Him, and serving Him and others. She and her husband, John, have been married 31 years, and they have one son and one daughter. Her heart is for all to love Christ and live for Him.
